"Vacationing in the Isle of Palms is a bit expensive but I love how peaceful it is there and it isn't swarming with crowds, unlike Myrtle Beach. The beach is very clean and pet-friendly so we always bring our dalmatians with us. The perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway. "

"Kiawah is just a short drive from Charleston and it is one of the best beaches in South Carolina. I love how the locals were able to preserve the natural beauty of the island. We enjoy going to the beaches, marshes and sand dunes. Of course, our visit to the island wouldn't be complete without golfing at Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Planning on going back there next summer!"

"A beautiful island with the broadest and cleanest beaches that I've ever seen in South Carolina. In addition, there are no beach fees. Parking spaces are a little limited so I recommend avoiding it during peak season. I love riding my bike along the beach and the local shopping centers are fantastic. "
