    #1King James Bible

    King James Bible
This Bible version is a direct translation from the original Latin and Greek sources made during the kingdom of the British King James. This version comes also with the Apocrypha texts and with a full guide for helping the reader to make it through these labyrinthic, esoteric and theological issues.

"There are a lot of different versions and translations of the Bible in existence, which makes purchasing one a very difficult task. The King James version is arguably the most well-known and sold version of the Bible, so I began there. I then went and grabbed this specific edition, the Oxford World's Classic version, and bought it for my Kindle. It was very cumbersome, especially for a digital production. The Bible is thousands of pages long, which made not having an easy table-of-contents an absolute nightmare of scrolling. Not only that, but once you find where you do want to read, it's littered with multiple typos per page, rendering this virtually unreadable."

#2The Ignatius Bible Revised Standard Version

The Ignatius Bible Revised Standard Version
This edition of the Catholic Bible has minor revisions on some of the archaic language and is translated to a modern English language but without adapting the text to current tastes and prejudices.

"This is a really great looking bible. I bought it to read, and everything is printed really well and it is overall a very beautiful book. The text itself is also great for people who actually want to learn as it isn't watered down at all. The only thing is, the book is a little large, so it can't be transported easily. But this is a great bible to keep at your home and reference whenever you need."

"The New American Standard Bible (NASB) can be found on Amazon for a small price. Paperback $5.98 and Hardback $7.99 Free Shipping for Prime Members. This is not the King James Version and many say with a contemporary update is easier to read and understand. The size on it is 5 1/4 " x 8 inch so a handy size to carry anywhere. "
