"I use the Keansburg for bike commuting primarily because it's low-maintenance and reasonably priced. It's a bit heavy, but that's what makes it more stable and more pleasant for city rides. It also looks good, which is a plus"

"Redux always came up when I was looking for the best bike for commuting, and I'm glad I got one. Assembly took about 10 minutes, then I immediately took it for a ride. It easily takes on the different surfaces I ride on along my route to and from work. Hills were a bit tricky at first, had to shift to a higher gear when going up. Other than that, no complaints!"

"This commuting bike caught my eye because it's the only one in this list with drop bars. I weave a lot through traffic. Having a more narrow handlebar can make you maneuver better compared to mustache handlebars. "

"I got this for my husband as a birthday gift. Had a hard time assembling it myself since I'm not very handy AT ALL. He had a much easier time of course. He's been bike commuting 2-3 days a week now, and I think it's great. I heard him talk about the seat, though. Says it's not very comfortable for a big guy like him."

"After a few weeks of using this commuting bike, I had to bring my Schwinn Wayfarer to the bike shop for a more professional installation. Then it's just easy cruising after that"

"Yeah, setting it up out of the box can be a drag if you don't have tools. I brought mine to the shop just to make sure it's right. Looks very cute! There were some clicking in the gears the first ride, but they went away after."

"Probably the best bike for commuting for a small lady like me! Although, I taught the rims of the teal bike are chocolate brown. They were mauve. As for functionality though, it's great!"

"Not the best bike for commuting, but one of the good ones. For me it's because of the handlebars. They make you twist your wrist to brake. Also, it's probably best to have a professional assemble it for you."
