"I have loved the band Guns N' Roses since childhood. Growing up during the 80s they were the powerhouse of everything it was to be cool. Now being grown I see what a destructive force all that fame and fortune turned out to be and this book does not shrink from the truths of that."

"This book is like a series of essays which each cover a certain aspect of the Smiths. It briefly touches on the band forming but mainly touches on the creation of the music itself. It covers different periods of the band and the music they were producing during the time. It offers explanations as to how the environment of the band changed, the effect it had on the sound and feeling of songs they were making. It then compares how the music they create influenced the sound of music at the time. It's pretty fascinating read, but very heavy on the facts, not so much anecdotes."

"U2, one of the biggest bands that has ever formed. We all know of this band or at least the front man Bono. This is a photbook of the band that Anton Corbijn wrote and put together in 2000. This was when in my opinion U2 was at the top of there game. Also way before the world started hating them because of Bono's pretentiousness and the apple debacle of automatically forcing the bands newest album at the time on out apple devices. This book is mainly geared towards super fans so if that is you have at it."
