Bloatware is a term used to refer to software, usually unwanted by the user, included on a device, whether it be a computer or a mobile, by its manufacturer. Oftentimes, a device's bloatware is already pre-installed. Sometimes though, these nuisances are downloaded alongside apps or software that a user has previously installed, usually under said user's noses. Despite being harmless most of the time, bloatware can be considered as huge problems due to the space they take up. They are also humorously referred to as "crapware".

Did you know that bloatware can be found in almost a majority of modern devices, despite a number of people despising their existence? Although many users blame the operating system developers for these, bloatware usually comes from the PC manufacturers themselves, thanks to offers from third-party developers. These annoying programs, if left unchecked, can slow down a system's performance and even compromise a device's security.

To combat this, plenty of users have resorted to manually deleting and/or disabling these programs, while some have even downloaded bloatware removers, PC optimizers, and cleaners from the internet. This issue has become so widespread that plenty of websites offer tutorials on how to remove bloatware permanently.
