"The Bodice ripper novel is not my genre usually, but this novel is pretty good. It's not just about the sex, but it's about a lot of the emotional attachments that go around it. The writing is kinda lame in spots, but it is what it is, and since I like it, it must be pretty good example of the genre."

"The Secret Fire is a good book but related at all to Bodice Ripper. It does not fulfill the topic here in this case and thus I would not recommend it."

"Who doesn't love a good naughty novel from time to time? Take yourself back to Viking times and read about a steamy love between Kristen & Thane. Not something I read on a regular basis, but sometimes it's just fun to read something like this to break away from the norm."

"I recently have been turned onto sexual romance novels and cant stop reading them. I think it lets me play out depressed fantasies I would only be comfortable having happen in my mind. Anyways I've grown to love Johannas work and this book is no different from the rest. As a matter of fact I think this is my favorite yet , both by her and in the genre of romance novels as a whole. Highly recommended."

I didn't see her again until she had finished it. If the woman in your life loves high society and ballrooms and historical grandeur, and likes all that tied up with a nice bow of romance, then buy her this book."
