"This was a book that I was highly anticipating even before I knew what it was about. I loved the title and couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I finally got my copy. I devoured it in about a day, and absolutely loved it. Hex Hall was an exciting read with a mystery involved. It also has a wonderful "vampire, witches and werewolves oh my" factor, faeries too. Ms. Hawkins has created a fun, and vibrant world. The twists and turns of the story will keep your turning the page. There was a bit of a cliffhanger at the end of the book, so I'm really looking forward to see what is going to happen with Sophie."

"This book is written by New York Time's best selling author Lauren Oliver. It explores a young teenage girl's views on love, finality, and the flow of life. Very touching and emotional piece that's not your-typical-teenage drama, but rather a story filled with complexity and depth as described from the point of view of the main character."

"Marked is book one of a twelve book series for young teens to enjoy. It follows Zoey Redbird, a 16 year old who trains to become an adult vampire. It's a great story and something a little different than most other stories out there."

"I was recommended Thirteen Reasons Why by a close friend as a good book to read because I wasn't really sure what book I should read next. There is a TV show based on the book, and normally the book is usually better than the movie or show, but not in this case. I thought lacked some of the substance of the TV show and I felt the writing was pretty basic."

"This book was absolutely terrible. It is geared toward young girls, which is fine, but sending the message that the most important thing Clary can accomplish is Jace being her boyfriend is very dangerous and stupid. That's a bad message to send young girls. I don't think this is a good choice for undecided readers. "

"Even though this book is considered a children's book, it was as scary to me as Stephen King's books. Whether it was the isolation of the main character, the misfortunes that befell the children from the home, or the possibility that these children may somehow still be alive and dangerous scared me so much that, at times, I had to put it down and later come back to continue reading it. The book is very effective at evoking the imagination to spook itself. Definitely one of best children's thriller book I have ever read."
