"I picked this up on suggestion from a dear friend of mine. Perhaps this is the kind of novel somepeople enjoy but it just wasnt for me. I like a bit of suspense or thriller novels but this was extremely to dark and it just left me very emotional , and in a bad way. I couldnt finish it. Maybe I'm just going through some things of my own and this wasnt the right time. Ill consider finishing it in the future maybe."

Sixteen year old Gemma is kidnapped from Bangkok airport and taken to the Australian Outback. This wild and desolate landscape becomes almost a character in the book, so vividly is it described. Ty, her captor, is no stereotype. He is young, fit and completely gorgeous. This new life in the wilderness has been years in the planning. He loves only her, wants only her. Under the hot glare of the Australian sun, cut off from the world outside, can the force of his love make Gemma love him back? The story takes the form of a letter, written by Gemma to Ty, reflecting on those strange and disturbing months in the outback. Months when the lines between love and obsession, and love and dependency, blur until they don't exist \- almost.

"Stolen is a very intriguing book about an abduction. It is told through a letter which I find very unique and surprisingly fitting for this book. This is a good read if you want to try something new."

"I tend to enjoy thrillers and abductions are a big part of that genre. Consequences is kind of icky though. I mean, a sexy thriller about doing whatever it takes to get out of being abducted isn't really sexy as much as creepy and sad."

"This is an interesting book to say the least. I know it's fiction, but it's situations are too unbelievable at some points. The premise is OK, but I just can't wrap my head around some of he plot points in the story. It's an OK read, but not for everyone. "

"I saw the movie a few years back and have been waiting on the sequel, so I decided to check out the book by the same name. The characters Lissa and Rose (although a bit bratty) are captivating and I can't get enough of them. This installment definitely makes me want to see where the author leads me for the next one."

"The cover of this book is decently appealing to look at personally. It is perfectly taboo in my opinion and now I am interested in picking this one up for my own, just to check what's up. Reading some positive reviews too makes you really consider going for this one most definitely."
