"This book is more about what happens after an airplane crash rather than the events themselves. This is a survival novel, much like Hatchet or, to an extent, Robinson Curusoe. I enjoyed it, mostly, and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys these kinds of stories."

"Alive: The Story of the Andes Survivors is an intense and epic book that is, surprisingly, based upon a true story. The twists and turns and sense of adventure seem to separate this text from reality. It is amazing to me that anyone survived this plane crash. Check out this book if you want to be enthralled from the first page to the last."

"This book is interesting because it is a true story. It is a real life investigation into what happened to this plane. Don't read if you afraid of flying, because you may not want to go on a plane again. "

The book is surprisingly detailed an intense and I was hooked the entire way through. Obvious you know how it ends but don't let that stop you from enjoying this from cover to cover."

""Down Around Midnight" ends up being a straightforward, complete account of the crash of Air New England Flight 248, up to the present and as recalled by many. Robert Sabbag proves himself to be a very likable, courageous, no-nonsense kind of guy with keen insight into himself and others. His memoir is honest, engaging and unforgettable. Could be one of the best books about airplane crashes. "
