"This is a great book for introducing young kids to art, and it has become one of my 5 year-old's favorite books. She's even started to show an interest in other art, and asks who painted works of art now. We have to read this at least once a week now! I highly recommend it!"

"A decade ago, before those left wing nut balls tried to convince everyone there's no distinction between colors, this gem of a novel was published. There's a really good message in it, and I've read it to all five of my kids through the last 10 years, and each one seems to get what it's about. "

"Rockabet is a fun book for kids about the history of music. It is both enjoyable and educational at the same time. My daughter liked the book. If you want a children's book that's more about art in general, rather than music, then look elsewhere."

"This is a gorgeous book, aimed for children but readers of all ages should enjoy it. It is possible to botch an art book, even featuring one as accomplished of Van Gogh, but the editors have taken care to reproduce the originals lovingly. What's most intriguing is the inclusion of some very poetic language taken from letters from Vincent to his brother. "

He loves reading so we always make sure to indulge him in this area. We read it first to check the content before giving it to him. "This book is adorable! These crayons are real characters belonging to a boy who often leaves them behind when he travels, so they send him postcards. I recommend this book for kids in the early elementary grades, or even for adults who still like to draw with crayons. This book is part of a series, so there are more stories about these crayons in addition to this one."

"If you want your kid to play with coloring books and have fun with drawings, but also learn about the art, I think this book is for you. There is no harm in learning a little while having fun also. I was surprised that the book does not belong to any kind of series which includes other famous painters like Picasso."

"The book is great for children to help become more active in a mental and creative way. The book has some flaws as some of the objects are colored in with black ink. When I was a kid, I loved to color. It is great that people are still hawing these books for educational purposes."
