"You know, I always wonder why evil aliens are so persistent trying to wipe out everyone on a planet. I Am Number Four is actually a fun read, but that bit is what bugs me. I needed some entertainment, as they caught me defecating on the football field again and put me in lockup, and this book was what was available. I was entertained, but now all I can think about is, why are the aliens so persistent? Why?"

"A classic young adult series that I think anyone growing up in the 2000's can remember. I read this quite a few years ago and had a great time with it. After seeing the books on my bookshelf I decided to read it again to see if it would hold up years later and it did. A lot of laughs and an interesting world to explore. The books aren't particularly long, but I as it was a young adult series I suppose that makes sense. I would recommend the series to anyone looking for a quick getaway to a new world."

"This book (and series) is a really fun read. It's not as good (to me, obviously) as some of Brandon Sanderson's work like the Stormlight Archives, but it's a good read nonetheless. If you have teenagers, they'll probably love it as they will likely be able to identify with it more. "

It's really quite amazing to read this and realize his roots in thrillers. I think it would make a great film should they ever choose to adapt it. Give this one a shot for something truly different."

"I was looking for a book to read about characters with superpowers and was having trouble finding one. My friend recommended that I finish the Harry Potter series and read Deathly Hallows. Even though it was about magic he thought it would scratch my superpower itch. It was a great book but I still wanted to read a book about people discovering their powers and exploring what to do with them. I will continue my search for the perfect book about superpowers."
