"The Hobbit is by far one of the best fantasy novels I've ever read. I even enjoyed it more than Lord of the Rings. The book also has some amazing illustrations and very memorable characters. It's hard to put down once you start. "

"Although this book is a little long,my kids liked it. Had to be careful reading it aloud since there are some swear words in it. That being said, the kids loved the characters, especially Meggie. A long book, around 500 pages, but still a good read for your kids."

"I needed something to pass the time so I decided to ask a few friends around what book is great to read that has special abilities or superpowers so they recommend this pretty good book called Sky Ghosts. I would have to say I'm quite impress about the story line of a girl who has unique special abilities and use it to protect human society. Would highly recommend this book."

"I find this book to be once of the best in the Harry Potter series. Harry certainly has a lot to deal with as a character with special powers. A lot of book series start to become less interesting as the series progresses, this book does not disappoint."

"I'm kinda on the fence about this book. I wanted kind of a power fantasy novel, with characters that rival those of x-men and so on. What I got was actually an interesting book with very tame but mysterious and neat powers. I enjoyed this book for the most part but It felt a bit slow in some places."

"City of Class is not my favorite book even though I do think positively about the series. As an be the case with a series, this third book drags a bit more than the first two and so I wouldn't consider it among the best books with unique abilities, the first two in the series easily outpace this one let alone others."

"A fantastical story of power and conflict, with ever-changing perspective and a focus on the magical. I am a huge fantasy ready, and I love this book. I like to imagine I am the characters, and I possess deep mystical powers. Normally, I'm at my desk job all day, so this gives me a break from reality. It's very thrilling, and I love how he drew Nature's elements in here. A good read. "

The existence of genies may be the best-kept secret in the history of the world. She eagerly heads out into the human world to grant her first wish so that she can gain her magic. Unfortunately, her assigned human, Addie, stopped believing in wishes years ago and would much rather that everyone just leave her alone. Complicating everything is Rock, Brielle’s childhood friend turned enemy. Brielle doesn’t need him ruining her first trip out into the human world. Too bad she can’t keep her mind—or her eyes—off him and his annoyingly cute dimples. To make matters worse, genies in the Tri-Cities area are suspiciously dying. One broken lamp could be an accident, but after three deaths occur, Brielle suspects someone has uncovered the genies’ secret and is slowly killing them off one by one. With the Genie Council ignoring the threat, Brielle desperately needs to gain her magic so she can stop the murderer before she—or Rock—is the next genie to die.

"I like the interesting mix of genies and the love story between them. This is a new twist on the genie genre. Normally genies are believed to live in solitude in their lamp and only contact their current master. The way this story is presented with the love interest as well as the genies quest to "level up" is an intersting twist on the way a genie story is told."
