"Consequences is just a normal thriller&mystery book having some characters about obsession. Yes, it is a little bit dark, but I did not enjoy the book at all except the end. I was expecting such a big twist in the story anyway."

"Notice is a decent book that unfortunately can't get out of its own way. It's not a great book but if you like this kind of genre I think it could be adequate."

Sixteen year old Gemma is kidnapped from Bangkok airport and taken to the Australian Outback. This wild and desolate landscape becomes almost a character in the book, so vividly is it described. Ty, her captor, is no stereotype. He is young, fit and completely gorgeous. This new life in the wilderness has been years in the planning. He loves only her, wants only her. Under the hot glare of the Australian sun, cut off from the world outside, can the force of his love make Gemma love him back? The story takes the form of a letter, written by Gemma to Ty, reflecting on those strange and disturbing months in the outback. Months when the lines between love and obsession, and love and dependency, blur until they don't exist \- almost.

"Ah yes, the classic tale of being forcibly taken from your home to somewhere incredibly foreign. However, your captor is not your typical villain. He's charming and handsome. It was hard to put down this book because I kept reading to see if and how Gemma escapes, but also to discover the reason behind her captor's obsession with her."

"This novel does seem to be about a dark plot line, but not really what I'm looking for here. The book's plot summary details many dark and difficult things for the main character, but nothing hat leads me to believe this focuses on an obsession."

"Oh, how I disliked this book. I can deal with BDSM, I can deal with dark, but for heaven's sake, there's a difference between that and what happens in this book, which is abduction and rape. I blame Fifty Shades of Grey for this sort of nonsense. Just awful."

"I love lifetime movies and this pretty much has the qualities of a lifetime movie. The darkness and the obsessive behavior, it's amazing. Seriously am glad I laid my hands on this read, it's a great find. It may not be for everyone but this is a good book about dark obsession."

"The book does a good job of picking up where the first on left off. It is very graphic and definitely deals with dark matters. I did however find it to be somewhat predictable. "

"I wanted to like this series after I saw a few of my students reading it; however the writing style is somewhat inconsistent. I had planned in using it in a classroom discussion of obsession as our monthly theme but I think I might look elsewhere to find a good fit for this purpose (high school freshman English class.) The incorporation of blogging and social media seems gimmicky. "

"This book seems a bit more thriller than dark obsession. The book seems great but it doesn't fit the bill. I don't think detective genres work very well for dark obsession in general to be honest."
