Giving hope, reassurance, understanding, and sympathy, it is easy for anyone to read, understand, and relate to. It's full of positive thoughts and silver linings, without being unrealistic. A very approachable and kind read for anyone dealing with sadness from cancer."

"Empire Fall is not a good fit with this category. Though a truly excellent book, the character dealing with cancer is not one of the main ones, so it is merely a small part of this book. Other books tackle the issue head on and are a much better fit."

"MEDICAL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX: The $ickness Industry, Big Pharma and Suppressed Cures is a no-holds barred critique of mainstream medicine and the various players who make up one of the largest and most profitable industries on the planet. Written by novelists, filmmakers and independent researchers James Morcan & Lance Morcan, with a foreword by retired pharmacist Denis Toovey (author of Better Health for You: An Insider's Big Picture Guide), this explosive book explores the contention that Big Pharma and other participants in the healthcare sector put profits ahead of patients’ wellbeing and dollars ahead of lives. "The probability of Miracles is a great read, it is told in the third person and really pulls you into the story. While reading this book I felt as though I were right there with the characters as the imagery the author uses to weave the story is wonderful! The book led me through twists and turns and unlike some books I found it to be hard to know what was going to happen next! it is a real page turner! This book will help put you into the shoes of someone dealing with cancer."

"Before I Die is simply tragic. Everyone approaches cancer differently. This book is good but puts too much of a positive spin on what is a realistically horrific thing, Cancer. I would not recommend it as a best book about dealing with cancer. I find the hospice books, written by nurses are much more uplifting. "
