"Parts of this book were very inspiring and really brought me to a different place. However there were parts that were droning or overly-detailed and that brought the rating down. One of those books you 'like' but wouldn't necessarily want to read a second time."

"When I read the title I expected a fantasy novel, but this is supposedly non-fiction. It can be interesting to learn about a different way of life, but I am expecting a lot of mumbo jumbo in this book."

"This is a fun book for those who don't know much about druids. It's nothing new and it doesn't introduce facts that won't be found in other druid books. It's a solid read for the first timer, but csn be skipped if you already covered the beginners basics. "

"I'm no druid-believer, but I did like this book anyway. I skipped over some of the stuff that I find implausible. I took note, however, of the historical notes. That was really interesting. My daughter (a teenager) also read it (I think she tried out a few of the spells, though not with any effect!). It's well written and a good book for its' genre. "
