"As a Christian that struggles everyday with making a mark on the world, this book was incredible. It is a quick read, approximately 35 pages, but in those 45 pages Schaeffer gets right to the point. We must remember what the true meaning of being a Christian is and to share that love and compassion that we all share as Christians."

"The Latter Rain Covenant! Who ever heard of it before? Of course we have read about “The Days of Heaven on the Earth,” in Deuteronomy, but who has seen that those days were to be introduced through the spiritual outworkings of this Covenant? What a wonderful God. No man could have thought these lectures out; they bear the imprint of Heaven's teaching. How marvelous the BOOK! It's treasures are deep and lie hidden, except to the mind of the Spirit, who reveals them to whomsoever He will. These lectures with the exception"

"I think this is a book for people who already have a lot of faith, specifically Christian, and want to revel in that feeling. As a non-religious person, I found it somewhat interesting, but I don't think it had the effect my aunt hoped. :) That said, I think it would be a great book for bible groups, to help continue/inspire new conversations - I'm "loaning" it back to my aunt for that specific purpose!"

The author questions not only the hierarchy within the church, but also speaks with the victims whose lives have been turned upside down by the scandals. The book is not about faith, but more about imagines solutions to allow people to feel comfortable about going back to the church and feeling good about being able to worship in the churches that they may be questioning. A well written, though provoking book available in various formats through Amazon."
