"This is an interesting find, in that it doesn't exactly happen to be written within the Harry Potter world; instead it is a reference book of the real life influences and effects of the series. I would say that this doesn't fit the problem because someone that is searching for books about this subject is most likely looking for fiction books to read, and not something that borders on a biography."

"I think this is a must have for Harry Potter fans. These movies were a good chunk of my teenage years and they were outstanding movies! They told a great tale of wonder and mystery and magic. The Harry Potter series was done so well. It is really interesting to see how the entire process was done and how they created the effects that made that movie stand out from everything else at the time."

"I liked this book as a Harry Potter fan given it's plethora of information regarding the creatures and beasts of the Harry Potter universe. I was impressed by this zoological companion. This book gave me tons of news information regarding creatures I was curious about before but had no real outlet to learn about. Now I can read through this database."

"Harry Potter and History is a pointless book. It doesn't offer anything of value to fans of the fiction series. It's not particularly well-researched and sourced either, so it has limited value to everyone else as well. This one was just written to cash in on Harry Potter completists."

"Harry, A History has an introduction from J.K. Rowling herself. Don't let that trick you into thinking this is a good read. It's very dry and almost academic which is a shame for a book about a children's book character."
