"It feels strange to call something the "best book I've ever read about human trafficking," but that's really the most fitting description here. A Walk Across the Sun is heartbreaking and beautifully written. If I could reach out and help these fictional sisters, I would in a heartbeat. Excellent book."

"This is a wonderfully well written novel, investigating paranormal subtexts with tight and precise character development. Three psychic strangers come together to save the world, not knowing of their common destiny. But it is not about human trafficking, either actual or fictional, and for that reason I can't recommend it as a solution to someone looking for such a book. "

"Where is the room to care. He did not care about that fact that his drugs - by the way he produced as well as distributed - could easily be going to children and ruining families, causing coke whores, child prostitutes. DID NOT MATTER AS LONG AS HE MADE HIS MILLION."

"It is not quite a book about human trafficking, it is more of a kidnapping suspense thriller story. It is a very gripping novel and will be very hard to put down. I read this during lunch breaks at work, it was too intense to read at bedtime. "

"This book really handled the topic of human trafficking so well. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time reading this, and finished it in one sitting because I had to know how it ended. Strongly recommended as the writing is superior to other books that handle this subject."

"This is an excellent book for moms, daughters, aunt, nieces to read and openly discuss the danger lurking in this world. I hope when Sophie looks in the mirror she now sees the strong, respectable woman she has become. I also hope her sharing her story has helped heel her in some way. Thank you."

"Very heart wrenching yet realistic fiction about and eleven year old who is at the mall on a normal day in a child's life and gets abducted into a child sex trafficking ring. Lots of horrific scenes of abuse that are hard to read but you want to find out what happens next, so it's hard to put down. It also shows how fast someones life and be upended . It is a very long book, over 600 pages, but the author does a great job with this. Highly recommend "

"Though the book is fiction, it reads like it is real and will peak many peoples interests in the subjects. It highlights what goes on in the world in a fictional way but makes a point that it is something serious and needs to be looked at. The writing is great and very accessible and will make you want to read more."
