"Tossing care to the wind and hitting the road is a time honored wish. A dream. Not all of us are capable of carrying through, but we can live vicariously through others who are. McGregor and Boorman rode across multiple continents on their motorcycles, and had a fantastic adventure doing it. I loved their tale, it was so freeing. One day, I'm going to do the same."

"This is the illustrated version of the amazing story of two friends traveling around the world together. It is a demonstration of the will of individuals to make it to their goal. More importantly it is also an illustration of the generosity, the kindness, the sadness, the humor and the beauty they found along the way"

"My mother in law is in a motorcycle group in Cincinnati so naturally I figured this book would be great for her! I did read it first to see how I would like it and it gets very deep and philosophical. There is a story intertwined with it about a father and son traveling through the states to the west so partially it talks about trips but I would say the overall feel is far more deep from a trip."

"A very interesting read about a blind woman who travels on a motorcycle. I brought it to the beach and finished it in the course of 2 days. While it is mostly about traveling by motorcycle it really touches upon the human conditions and disabilities. It held my attention as I wanted to know how the story ended with them traveling and the bike breaking down in foreign countries. Very unusual read for me but I did enjoy it."

"I have never read The Diary of Bink Cummings so I can't recommend it. I might recommend On The Road by Jack Keroauc. It is an inspiring coming-of-age tale involving a boy riding a motorcycle across the country. It is a well-written American classic. "

"I honestly expected something more from this author, the only thing that I liked was the informative and historical aspect of the book and the restlessness of traveling on Route 66, on a motorcycle"
