"Life is full of people with different personalities interacting with each other within a morally restrained context with social boundaries and expected societal norms. Every personality has a different world of its own that pertains to the very social fabric to create its harmony with itself and others. That is what Is This the Real Life by Mark Blake all about. It explores how members who drove the band to its success and its fundamental transformation have managed to maintain harmonious personal characters with each other and the fans. What I was really fascinated by regarding this book is the variety of perspectives that the author has gathered to shed light on aspects of Queen. It challenges every other viewpoint to give you a comprehensive and unbiased view of the dynamics within the band."

"As somebody who loves the music that Queen plays, I always love to read books written about the ban. With Freddie & Me, I was able to get a greater understanding of Freddie Mercury, and as a result, a greater appreciation for their music. This is a great book for people who love Queen."
