"Catcher in the Rye is a book I can read again and again. Holden embodies what many of us teenagers have felt before, all those pent up emotions and the desire to rebel against our life at the moment and feeling out of place in ourselves and the world. It's not really for the faint of heart, but no teenager like me can read this without relating a lot to Holden's innermost thoughts. I didn't know I needed to read this book, but now my bookshelf is never without a copy of it."

"I'm a reasonably intelligent individual, but I found the plethora of made-up words to be very annoying. Yes, you can figure most of them out from the context, but what a chore. I liken this work to literary auto-eroticism...a great deal of pretentious self-indulgence by the author The movie was an icon of its times. The book...meh. One person found this helpful"

"Into the wild is a interesting book about teen rebellion but nothing special. Although it is a non-fiction book I found it to be somewhat boring and predictable. I finished the book but more then likely won't read it again. There are better options in my opinion. "
