" Daughter of Smoke & Bone has provoked a lot of chatter for a reason: it's great! This fantastical young adult tale is accessible to all audiences who love beautiful writing and deep storytelling. With a determined and strong heroine who is unafraid to do things on her own terms and a swoon-worthy love interest that is actually interesting, this is a wonderful mystery to settle into. "

"Considering the target market for this book I was really impressed with how complicated and interesting the overall story is. Well actually to be specific the heaven and hell aspects were really well done, the romance, not so much, I actually think if they pruned that back a bit this book would be perfect."

"This young adult new series has a promising start in Evermore: The Immortals. This is teen literature at its best: wonderfully clever, lots of fantasy to keep you engaged, and honest portrayals of young, confused love. The twists are surprising without seeming overwrought and the dialogue is realistic. Can't wait for the next book to continue on this journey with Ever!"

"City of Bones follows the life of a 15-year old named Clary Fray and the results of witnessing a murder in a club. Except, the culprit is invisible and angels come down, etc. etc. It's quite a weird mesh of supernatural themes, but oddly enough it does actually work. The world is strong and the environment was well set. Sometimes that makes all the difference. I would recommend this as it was actually a really interesting read for me. I do enjoy a good clump of supernatural."

"I love vapmire stories, I have read a lot of different ones. I decided to try The Blue Blood series. I thought I'd give this Vampire Series a try and see if it was any good. And for the first in the series it was pretty entertaining. I read it in about a day and half. It kept my interest and kept me wanting to read on. Although I must warn you: its not really about Vampires. I mean not the typical comes-out-at-night/burned-by-the-sun/stake-through-the-heart Vampire type. The Vampires were really just immortals who kept being re-born over and over. It was an interesting twist. I enjoyed it. But the author should have called them something else. Immortals. I dunno. I guess "vampire" sells more these days. It was still worth the read, and the price, its 9.99 for the whole Kindle series"

So I picked up a copy of "The Keeper: Revenge", and I was surprised to find it an interesting and entertaining read. Teenage angst throttled up several levels by such events as one's mother becoming a vampire! And I thought I had it bad when mine checked into the Betty Ford Clinic decades ago. A good read and quite enlightening. "
