"This is a relatively quick read (224 pages) through a complex issue. As such, it has to minimize some areas of the argument in order to flesh out others. The author is less interested in a debate than presenting one side of the argument as forcefully as possible, so this may not be the best book for anyone looking for an objective overview. "

"This was super interesting, but way, WAY technical for the average reader. I consider myself smarter than most, and even I had a hard time keeping up with what they were saying. It didn't really change my views any, but it's still a fascinating read."

"I think that the author Richard Dawkins is absolutely hilarious, but as far as Creation vs. Evolution with him, there is no debate. He's not open-minded at all. He's not willing to accept any part of an argument against his own, and he uses the edginess to become more famous and sell more books. Does it work? Maybe but I wouldn't recommend it."

"This is a remarkably good book even if you already believe in evolution, and even if you’re not a scientist – or you ARE a scientist, but want to learn more about this subject. It makes an exhaustive, detailed, and highly informative case about the certainty of the theory of evolution. It’s also super well written and fun to read. I got this because it was recommended by my bio professor, and it’s actually a super good read; so I do recommend it for people who aren’t wondering if the title is really accurate. (Though it’s also good for people who are wondering, and are willing to listen.) Just a word of warning, it’s not gonna convince hardcore biblical literalists. I gave it to my Gran and she read 3 pages, told me it was written in the black blood of Sin, and tossed it aside. Some people’s beliefs can’t be swayed by evidence, sorry. "

"I find the creation versus evolution debate very interesting and engaging. I had always thought that evolution was accepted but then realized that there still was debate about it. I decided to read a book to try to find both viewpoints. I read "Darwin's Black Box" which explained both concepts thoroughly and why different people believe different things. It was a good, well written book that was easy to understand. I'd suggest others take a look at it as well."

"This is a decent solution to the topic. The book does have to deal with the topic but also them not believing in either of those theories and thinking it is different then all of that. Since its not just the two is just a decent solution. "
