"The author never disappoints when it comes to writing page-turning thrillers, and this time, it’s no different because the story delves into the harsh reality and growth of the sex-trafficking business in the cyber world and the danger that lurks behind these sites, where things are not always what they appear to be and how one can never be too trusting when it comes to connecting with strangers. There is plenty of suspense, drama, manipulation, and secrets and lies with some surprising twists and turns."

"This is my favorite kind of _ethnic group_ fiction because it shouldn't be categorized as whatever fiction, but rather is just a great work that is about some group. Really well written, beautiful prose throughout, and a sort of story we don't get enough of in such high quality. There were a few parts that I felt dragged a bit, but overall great."

"The best book according to Go On Girl! Book Club is Buying Time (Angela Evans) by Pamela Samuels Young. The story revolves around Waverly Sloan, a down-on-his-luck lawyer. But just when he's about to hit rock bottom, he stumbles upon a business with the potential to solve all of his problems. It is a tale of perilous greed, too much, too fast."

"The go on girl book club has been an integral part of my life for years. Recommendations like this are part of the reason why. The Roll is excellent even for people who aren't music fans! The main character was so well crafted I thought at first she must have been a real person. "

"This product page makes no reference to awards or recommendations from the Go On Girl Book Club, so I do not know for sure if it is a fitting suggestion here, but user reviews are fairly positive. It only has a small number of reviews though, so it isn't a particularly popular book, at least on this particular listing, so it might not be the recommendation I am looking for."

"I think everyone will be able to relate to this coming-of-age story even if the culture it depicts is wildly different from one's own. The book is interesting throughout, the characters relatable and likable, and the prose itself keeps you happily pushing forward. The themes of youth wanting to experience more of the world and feeling discontent with where they are are universal, and so everyone can really relate to this wonderful novel."

"The New Jim Crow is a realistic take on our current society. It examines present day arguments about racism and breaks them down to a basic level, showing how our society currently feels. It sets the stage for our current generation to say, "Okay, this is where we are, so let's move on from here," and end racism altogether."
