"I almost gave up on "Never Let Me Go" at midpoint because it requires a lot of patience due to its muted tone and almost deadening pace. I certainly think that the story could have been condensed into an 80-page novella and been just as effective. That the book raises important questions about society and life and death and science and fate is admirable. That its style prevents many readers from finishing it, let alone understanding it, is a serious flaw."

"I thought this was a pretty interesting read. I enjoyed that the moral arguments of the book were presented in a way that was character driven, which made the themes seem less heavy-handed."

"Natchez Burning has a lot in common with the Indiana Jones trilogy of movies. Maybe not plotwise, but definitely thematically. Greg Iles has written a truly great thriller here."

"Book was boring, it goes on and on but it does not quite every get to a point. I do not understand a lot of the dialogues and the story is pretty basic overall. It does not really show a clear way or path . It needs a lot of work to be complete or done"

"Isaac Asimov is the father of modern science fiction. The Foundation trilogy is a classic for a good reason! But with that said, I should warn you that Asimov is a rather obtuse writer. He has a very dry style that is not everybody's thing. If that doesn't deter you, this book has fascinating ideas behind it, but it isn't exactly a page-turning thriller."

"This is a pretty good book with a good dose of humor and philosophy. The book is very insightful, but I didn't feel like I could connect with the characters on an emotional level. It was still worth the read though."

"Executive Disclosure is a young adult book. Reagan is a lesbian who wants to be the among the top people in the family business. She uses her beauty and body to get what she wants but in doing so finds out that someone wants her dead. This is an ok book. Not too happy that it is being offered to young adults due to the fact she is a lesbian and using her body and looks. I dont know that it would send a good message to younger people"
