"Other than Gingersnaps, this is my fav Cathy Cassidy book! But seriously, whatkind of a 12 year old wears a thong!!??¿ Im 18 and I still wear vests and colorful knickers from the kids section in Pennys!! And I most definitely do not wear make-up unless of course if u count face paint as make-up. And my only crush likes my friend and she likes him, even though she hasn't admitted it cause our bf is his twin, so no, i dont even have a proper crush!!! But anywho, it was a good emotional book about friendship, and was a very worthwhile read, but totally unrealistic!!!"

"Angel Cake follows a pretty traditional story line but still managed to keep me interested with compelling characters. While I do wish Anya was given a bit more motivation that just romantic interest, I found her quite fascinating. A charming but inessential read."

"A great book that children and adult can both find enjoyment from. One can spend hours pondering the depth of the characters in the book and its portrayal to real life. I don't have children, but when I do, I plan to read them this because it is honestly a book everyone should read. "

"This is a great book by Cathy Cassidy and it's quirky and fun. The story's protagonist is Jude and she has an abnormally delightful family such as her mother and her father who thinks he's Elvis. It's a great start in getting to know the author and having a bit of a fun read along the way. Not to mention she has a crush on a flop haired boy who rides his roller blades everywhere he goes!"
