"I wouldn't say I'm an expert in Colombian authors, but I have definitely gotten to be more appreciative of them after reading Collected Stories. The talent in Gabriel Garcia Marquez writing is evident as each story delivers a unique perspective and aspect of life and family. If you are looking for something challenging by a Colombian author, this book of stories should be high on your list."

"I feel like there are better books out there by Colombian authors, but while I'm saying that? This one isn't horrible by any means. I'd say it's above average and at the end it'll be more about the plot than author. So if you like its idea, go for it. If it sounds cheesy or the likes, move on."

"This romance absolutely tells a very impressive story, what happens in this book is very interesting and the characters are described very vividly, and love is seen in a very different point of view as majority of people do. Sometimes you may think the situations are happening in front of your eyes because they are described so vividly. I have had a qualitative time reading this book and i am sure that it will be the same for the majority of readers. "
