I like the overall pursuit of the main character Pendergast, who is relentless in bringing justice for his wife's murder. Despite a 500 page book, it wasn't boring or didn't turn me off at all. "

"This is yet another fantastic installation by Douglas Preston so it definitely deserves to make the top of the list. He does not disappoint with this fiction novel as part of the Pendergast series. I don't know if I would say it's my absolute favorite but it was on par with the others preceding it, that's for sure. If you're into the Pendergast series, you must read this one as well."
