"Excellent book for history buffs! Nibley associates things in such a way as to make you view the world of today differently than before you read his words. We can't understand where we are if we don't know how we got here- Nibley sheds welcoming light on the problems that we still face today. "

"Hugh Mobley has slowly became one of my favorite authors. After reading my first book by him last year ive been picking up new reads here and there by him. This book sealed the deal. After reading this he is in my top three authors of all time. If you're on the fence about Hugh then pick this up. It's sure to change your mind."

"I never write a review for anything but this book is an exception. I own the hard copy and the kindle version. It is very intellectual and not for everyone to read. These nuggets of truth can be found nowhere else and I would love to tell you some of them but would rather that you discover it for yourself. Good hunting. Great rewards."

"Positive's it does give some in depth insight to Abraham that I did not know about and adds an interest character to it. Negatives it is from a Mormon standpoint. Although similar on the surface mormons and Christians have quite a different belief. This is prevalent in the book, much of the history is based on a false prophecy from the mid 1800's. This is a major downfall. This boom may be useful for some who are deeply into judeo christian history or into studying the beliefs of different religions, but I would not recommend it otherwise due to the many inaccuracies."

"Mormonism and Early Christianity was a book I read out of pure interest in theology and religions. If someone is not into that sort of thing, then they aren't going to consider this the best book, or even a great book. This is a specific taste and I can't in good faith say it's one of the best in general. "
