- #1May 13, 2018"I would definitely rank this book up there with the best work by Cabot. The main character is a tempestuous firebrand who embodies virtues you don't normally find in a teenage heroine and I think that is wonderful. The more assertive female role models there are in the world the better. If you are going through Cabot's catalogue and wondering about a place to start I believe this book would be a fantastic one."

It really dropped my enthusiasm to finish this book, luckily it's not too long. There is some enjoyment to be had, and it's worth reading if you like the series, just be warned it's not as good as the first two."
