"This book collects several short stories by Nick Hornby and quite a few other writers. It's good representation of Nick's work throughout his lifetime and would be essential reading in studying him. I enjoyed the contributions from the authors and how Hornby would go through the editorial process. Great book to have to just read for a few hours at a time."

"I think that this was a pretty good book and I think that a lot of people will like it. It's more of a collection of essays than books but they're all really interesting and I really love the vantage points that they are written in. I think it's the sort of book that has something for everyone, and you can keep coming back to it again and again. "

"With an affectionate introduction by Sarah Vowell, this is the third and final collection of columns by celebrated novelist Nick Hornby from The Believer magazine. Hornby's monthly reading diary is unlike any arts column in any other publication; it discusses cultural artifacts the way they actually exist in people's lives. Hornby is a voracious and unapologetic reader, and his notes on books — highbrow and otherwise — are always accessible and hilarious."
