"I read Before I Fall expecting it to be an interesting riff on the Groundhog Day premise. What I got instead was a bunch of moody teen angst and introspection. Such a disappointment, I don't understand who could possibly enjoy this sort of boring navel-gazing."

"This just went on and on. I like that it's got a strong female protagonist. But it could have been written better. A lot better. But I guess a book with faeries in it can't be all bad..."

"Let me start off by first just saying how breathtaking the cover of this book is. It is insane. I know I shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but I'm really glad I did when I chose to pick this one up. I think seeing the cover also helps give the reader an idea about how to perceive the environment/setting that the book takes place in, and you also get a good first impression of the main character Ana. There's a perfect blend of fantasy and mystery that is visible in the cover of this book, and the story illustrates it quite well, too. I would dare say that this is my favorite book that has a face on the cover."

"This novel is a teen fantasy/suspense book which is reminiscent of the "Twilight" series. Plenty of angst and very addictive if you fit the target demographic. The face on the cover is suitably represented - gazing down, full of mystery, a solitary flower highlighted in bright scarlet. A good read, especially suited for 12-16 year old readers."

"The story started out a little slow but picked up pace,I would have wanted more depth in the supporting characters not that there is not any,I am being a little picky but its something I hope to get in the next book. Although I did enjoy the book thoroughly! I also really like the mythology a different take on the usual. Left me wanting more. Looking forward to the next book."

"I've never been so excited about a sequel and this book is making me want to go out and read all of the sequels to everything. I couldn't put it down. It's a great book even though the time periods got a bit confusing where it goes between 'then' and 'now', but once you've got that it's all good from there. The author is great and always keeps you wanting more. "

"My cousin is an avid reader and I'm always looking for the next good book for him. I know he is really into strange and interesting things like only reading books that have a face on the cover. Knowing that, I recently did a search for the best books designed with a face on the cover and stumbled upon "Heist Society". Wow was he blown away. He loved the story, the characters and everything about the book, especially the large face on the front cover. He is now hooked on the author, Ally Carter, and is trying to get more books by her."
