"Itten is the bible of color theory to many. When I can understand/follow what he's saying, it is amazing and a great learning tool. It can be a tad hard to follow in places. Translation: much of it has taken me re-reading sentences or paragraphs a number of times, and then still not understanding all of it. So far it is worth the effort, and has already changed the way I look at color in my own work."

"I think this was the most vividly clear answer so far. This book establishes exactly the solution the author of the topic was looking for, and makes it out to be a story line that captures the reader as well. This book takes all of the senses we have as humans and gives them a colorful definition that supports those senses."

"I learned so much about an everyday experience--seeing color. The explanations of complex scientific ideas are presented clearly. The graphics are stunning. I didn't think I'd care so much about color, but I now look at the world slightly differently than I did before. "

"An interesting book of notes on color, written more recently than I would have expected. There are a lot of strange things about color, such as primary colors being different depending on the medium. The book itself covers a lot of notes about it."
