"Dolls in a horror themes greatly spooks me out, no question about it. It started when I was a kid, just by looking at the book cover of Doll Bones, I am already feeling a bit creeped out just by looking at the doll on the cover, if you want something all about haunted dolls, this to me fits the bill, but personally I will never get a book featuring dolls on it, ever."

"Reminds me of the Goosebumps series. Has the feel of a book that you want to read through and read anything remaining in the series. One that i would get into and finish in an evening if i set myself to it."

"When her best friend dies under mysterious circumstances, Sophie sets off to stay with her cousins on the remote Isle of Skye. It's been years since she last saw them--brooding Cameron with his scarred hand; Piper, who seems too perfect to be real; and peculiar little Lilias with her fear of bones. Still, Sophie never expected the strange new rules the family now lives by: Make no mention of Cameron's accident. Never leave the front gate unlocked. Above all, don't speak of the girl who's no longer there, the sister whose death might have closer ties to Sophie's past--and more sinister consequences for her future--than she ever knew. "

"Coraline is darker, creepier version of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. While there are fantasy/horror aspects, there are no haunted dolls in this book. "

"I tried to read this a few years ago but had to put it down (and hide it under a stack of books) because it scared me so much. Deciding that I was now way beyond such silly things as being frightened by a novel about dolls I picked it back up and finished it in a weekend. I also slept with the lights on for that weekend and a few days following. I now shudder every time I see a doll."

"This book will send a shiver down your spine as you read through it's pages. I read it alone of a evening and I could have sworn on more than one occasion, I seen something out of the corner of my eye. Betty Ren Wright spares no words in describing each situation with great detail. A very, very scary book."
