"I have loved Alan Moore's work for years and was excited to get my hands on this. I took this book with me on the train to work which sparked a conversation with the person sitting next to me. We bonded over a love for graphic novels and are now planning to talk through our favorites on future train trips!"

"If you want to find one of the best books featuring hero and heroine with powers, look no further than "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" by J.K. Rowling. This amazing edition is the second book in the series details Harry's summer has included the worst birthday ever, doomy warnings from a house-elf called Dobby, and rescue from the Dursleys by his friend Ron Weasley in a magical flying car. This book is a true and awe inspiring classic just as the other books in the series are."

"Rick Riordan has a bunch of books with this same type of premise. He is a strong writer and I believe loves his characters and the topic. This book series is great for all ages preteen and up, and still enjoyable for adults as well. "

"I have noticed that a lot of times a novel will only feature a hero or a heroine, rarely both. Marked (House of Night) was a book that I found that actually had a strong set of both. This was really refreshing as I find that when I read fantasy novels I really connect with the female characters a lot more."

"I bought this book because I loved the movie. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer is the first book in the Twilight Saga series. I think it is one of the best love stories about vampires and other mythological creatures that I have ever read. I like to reread parts of the books because it is a larger than life story that is very entertaining to read."

"I was super excited when Obsidian was released and rushed to the book store to purchase it, but I was sorely disappointed as I read through the plot about Katy Swartz. The premise and story line sounded good but it did not deliver in the end. Swartz's character seemed to not fulfill the role as well as she could have and the plot line drug on with endless rabbit trails and was confusing to follow. I would recommend only borrowing this book and not purchasing."

"Eclipse is the third book in the Twilight Series. I’d recommend starting from the first book, and it you are already considering this one chances are you have been bitten by the Twilight bug. I personally do not love the writing, but I can’t put this one down. Each of the three characters in the love triangle turns out to have magical powers as either a vampire, werewolf, or something else special, that become very useful against the evil vampires. I don’t want to give out many more details as it might spoil some of the fun in this book. Maybe we will finally get an answer on if Bella chooses Edward or Jacob. Which team are you on?"

"While there is a lot of action and drama in this book, the switching point of views can make it unnecessarily hard to follow. The characters are very well developed but I kept waiting for some romance which never really came."
