"Catching Jordan was one of the best books I've read in a long time. I think this is a great book for empowering young women into the stigma of male roles. I especially enjoyed reading that her teammates respected and her drive to be a football player. I highly recommend this book."

"I adore this book. Not only is Pippi fun and adventurous but she shows little girls that they don't have to fit into a mold that people tell them. It is a fun over the top version of who a little girl could be if she let her imagination and true self out. It is a sweet way of getting the message across that we are all unique and amazing. "

"I thought this was a cute love story about a guy falling for a girl not everyone would think of first. I thought (most of) his list of reasons why he fell for Haley was really sweet and cute. I did read through this fast because despite my earlier disclaimer...I still did enjoy most of it. Plus I write YA so it is good to see how others do it. Brody definitely sounded like a teenage guy, so the author did a good job of capturing that voice. *update I checked on her good reads profile (Cassie Mae) and saw that she did give content ratings. It looks like there are others rated PG instead of PG-13 so I may try those next time around."
