"Great read! One of the great works in sci-fi and its still as good today as when as it came out. Heinlein really made a much deeper and more philosophic book than many even realize. I would recommend this book every day of the week!"

"I'm unsure if this explicitly features powered armor, but the general story concepts here are extremely fitting for any fan of powered armor or the like. This is a very Warhammer 40K esque futuristic setting, and this would appeal to any fan of that property. For anyone looking for more grim fantasy futuristic settings, this might be a good choice."

"I found this book to be a really cool read. It's a great look into a distant future and tells a great story of conquest and the expansion of humans past earth. I found myself glued to the book page after page drawn in by a powerhouse of a story and a great new take on a science fiction topic. "

"I bought this for my grand-daughter when she started expressing an interest in the dieselpunk genre. There really just aren't that many good books out there for any fans of dieselpunk, let alone young adults. This version included the illustrations by Kevin Thompson, which really help to set the mood. Dieselpunk really is all about the aesthetic after all."
