"I love Robin Hood and books about him. My favorite right now is Scarlet. It's about one of Robin Hood's best merry men and is really a fun book. The truth is, though, that Scarlet is a girl. I love that! It's such a great story and I love that it's about a girl and her adventures. Check this out if you want to read something new and exciting about Robin Hood."

"The solution identified here fits really well with the topic at hand. The book Outlaws of Sherwood not only helps provide information about Robin Hood but also discusses how the gang came to be as well as who the members were within it and their stories."

"In this young adult version of taking an old story and making it new, Robin Hood instead falls for a girl named Scarlet. But she's forced to marry another, cue drama! So while this isn't just about Robin Hood, it does feature him prominently. It might not be the best if you're looking for historical accuracy, but it should be a fun read otherwise."

"Tuck, the last installmant of the King Raven series by Steve Lawhead is a great book about Robin Hood. Not only does it tie the series together in an exciting way, but it really tells an interesting tale of Robin Hood. I really enjoyed the very human portray of Friar Tuck. I recommend reading the whole series in order."

"I enjoyed reading Hood. It is an exciting new telling of the old Robin Hood story. A great example of the genre. The plot moves a bit slowly, but the characters are interesting and developed well. Since it is the first book of three, it feels a bit too much like a set up rather than a fully complete story, but it is still a very good read. "

"While I loved Peter Beagle’s charming tale of Molly, Schmendrick and the Unicorn as a child, I believe I might have been mislead by a page that listed this story among a long list of books featuringRobin Hood. The book is a delightful yarn full of vivid characters, but the emerald archer is not among them, and I wish whomever added this story to Robin Hood book lists would be more careful! Rating 2.5 because it was such a good book, but it really doesn’t deliver the Prince of Thieves at all!"

"Rowan Hood does seem like I could fit the specification of the solution here as the book alludes to Rowan Hood looking for her father, so he may very well make an appearance. It does however specify that they need to be the best books and this one only has a few reviews and a slightly above average score. I would think there might be better alternatives out there that would be a better fit."
