"I thought this book was enthralling. Not in typical sense, but in the way that learning new things can be quite gripping. And this book is an exploration into a world I had never seen before, the world of the Russian criminal underworld, from the mafia on down."

"The solution isn't about the mafia but about a totalitarian government and the horrors of life in a prison camp. The solution doesn't work but the book is fantastic and is well worth the read "

"When I want my mafia books, I want them dirty and full of violence. I'm also a tattoo enthusiast, so I enjoyed this book on some level. However, it's not quite what I had in mind when looking for a book featuring the Russian mafia. While it's enjoyable, I'm not sure it's the best fit for the category. Regardless, it's a decent read."

"The best books about russian culture is the ones that highlight all the crime parts. The mafia is a big interest for me since I want to be in the mafia. The book called the Londongrad helps me to imagine what it would be like to be in the mafia and so it's a great book to read."

"This is a very good book explaining the genesis of the Russian mafiya and its connections to big business and the government. As someone who has been involved with Russia for the last ten years, the most troubling aspect of this book is that I have seen very little to no change in the way things are done over there. For at least the last five years I have been convinced that Russia is decades away from having a true civil society and the sad thing is that my timeline for this occuring has not yet shortened. This book helps explain why."

"There's quite a lot of art displayed in this book on the bodies of Russia's mafia. The book showcases tattoos on different mafia affiliates and the symbolism behind the art. I found this an interesting book to look at, the art style and symbolism is pretty fascinating even if you aren't a fan of tattoos."

"This book is all about the Russian mob and their involvement in the United States through history. This is relatively recent book on the subject, and user reviews could be more positive. Hoover, for the price, this could be a decent additional book for an enthusiast on the subject, or for someone just wanting to read a little bit about it for the first time."
