"This is a heart touching story, it's crude, a bit harsh and has much reality in it. It's full of feels and hard moments. The main character is unique and it was easy to feel simpathy for her and I could feel a conection i don't usually develop while reading. It's a great book but it's sad and a bit too painful to read, I still highly recommend it. "

"I recommend this book to everyone it was truly inspirational and helped shed light on not only the taboo of mental illness and how the lack of personal satisfaction and passion in many peoples lives can run a toll on our will to live but most importantly that we all have complete authority over our own happiness or lack there of. Veronika Decides to Die should be given to every teenager to read in high school when they believe life sucks"

"I hadn't heard of this book but it actually has caught my interest. The outline given on Amazon doesn't specifically say there is a schizophrenic character, but the book's cover art suggests that the novel deals with issues of a similar nature. "
