" enjoy erotica and heard so much about this book that I had to give it a shot, but I'm five chapters in and just can't take it anymore. This has to be the most appallingly atrocious writing I've ever seen in a major release. The pseudonymous British author sets the action (such as it is) in Washington State... for no reason than that her knowledge of America apparently consists of what she read in "Twilight"... but the entire first-person narrative is filled with Britishisms. How many American college students do you know who talk about "prams," "ringing" someone on the phone, or choosing a "smart rucksack" to take "on holiday"? And the author's geography sounds like she put together a jigsaw puzzle of the Pacific Northwest while drunk and ended up with several pieces in the wrong place."

"Cute animals are always a crowd pleasing attraction. This book tells the true story of three white Bengal tiger cubs who were abandoned by their mother less than a day following birth. Taken in by a couple of zookeepers, the cubs were nursed as they continued to grow. Eventually the humans introduced their dog, a golden retriever mother with a new puppy of her own, to the tiger cubs; and everyone decided they'd get along just fine. This story, complete with photos, shows the odd but delightful family of humans and animals growing up together. I found it just wonderful."

"Cats are very unique and special animals that had been domesticated throughout the history by humans. The intrinsic characteristic of this type of specie is a very good indicator why we humans feel compelled to it. Cats are very calm and seem to be mature when dealing with emotional side. Sometimes, i wish i had a temperament like cats by not caring enough about problems and be carefree about all the things that are happening in my life and the whole world. In The Tribe of Tiger, Elizabeth Marshall just validates all my recognition regarding cats' social characteristics and behavior through fact and experienced based research which comes in form of adventurous trip starting from tigers ending in pumas. I think they deserve human's intellectual attention and thorough analysis of their innate abilities"

"Not too good on documentation or organization, but lavishly illustrated. I found a few leads to follow up on. Links between a suffragettes and cats, the fellow who inspired and patronized Shakespeare and a cat, you know the drill"

"Rosamunde Pilcher has done it again and again! I have read nearly all of her books and they classics, in my opinion. No matter how many you have read of her books, they are always good for another time in your life. Iam so glad to have them on my Kindle and as soon as I finish one, there's another waiting. So wherever I go, appointments, beauty shop, I've got wonderful books to read without the books taking up many shelves in my house. Reading on my Kindle, I can at the flip of a switch go back to a book to refresh what it is about. Rosamunde's books are too good to not read!!! Don't miss them!! They are not books that you can figure out the end at the beginning, as many books are, and I won't waste my time on that kind of book."
