"Just reading the reviews from the type of people who read this book has told me its not for me. They are ALL in like a cult or they find one thing that doesn't fit into their preconceived notion and they turn on him. One even said it's "disgusting"... it's a book dummy."

"Moominland Midwinter: Special Collectors' Edition is a book by Tove Jansson. It is available from Amazon for $12.06 for a hardcover edition. It is the sixth book in the Moomins series of children's books. The story is about a Moomin that wakes in January instead of sleeping through the winter like normal. It is a good story for kids and fits the topic well."

"I never read books like this one before so I was new to this book. I liked it though. It's a fairy tale type of story but really well done. It's got everything a fairytale should have; princes, maidens, trolls etc. The character development is engaging and the imagery is beautiful. I love books that create imagery in your mind and pulls you into the story. This book did that for me. It makes the story all the more fun to read. I loved the characters of the book. They were each unique with their own unique dialogue. This is truly a magical book. "

"This is not just another fantasy ripoff novel. Published originally in 1957 (and apparently there's an updated version too), this book has your usual races like elves, trolls and humans, but is so well written you won't be surprised to hear Gary Gygax recommended it as well!"
