"A different type of romance novel, the author demonstrates that love is not bound by gender nor conformity. The tale of two young women falling in love over their character development is well paced and serendipitous. I felt for the teenagers and their forbidden love, and was glad the author appropriately addressed the issue of revealing one's true emotions, even if it is a costly decision."

"Not for me. I had issues with certain characters, mostly a character, who's name starts with the letter J. She was just not interesting, and I have no idea why she was even really attractive to our main character. She didn't even have much of a story. She's like an afterthought and it made the whole story feel rather ridiculous to me because I couldn't really stop myself from thinking of the main character negatively when Julia came up. "
