"My friend and her family are Catholic and I needed to find the perfect book for her teen who loves to read. She's at the age where romance is what she is into and I heard that When God Writes Your Love Story was a great book for teens. So I got it, it was well received and everyone said that they had heard a lot of good things about it. "

"Tolkein is considered the father of fantasy writing. We would not have an entire, and quite popular genre of books had it not been for the work of Tolkein. This is most exemplified in his Lord of the Rings series which ends on a high note with The Return of the King. However, I'm not quite sure what this has to do with Catholicism or teenagers. Perhaps, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe would be better as it has Christian overtones."

"This was a great read for me as a Catholic teenager. I was weary at first because the title seemed a little inappropriate for my age group, but it was a really great young adult read. I related well to the main character, Rebecca, and love that the book takes place in a Catholic environment. However, some of the reading was a bit complex for me."

"This book is based around a Saint, and thus is instructive as well as fun! It's written for teens, but certainly something that can be happily read by all ages. And, actually, all religions. It doesn't go overboard with the preaching, and the characters are allowed to be flawed and relateable. It was awarded as a top Catholic book, and deserved it."

" This book came very highly reviewed online, and since I am a fan of Catholic-based fiction I picked it up. Everyone raved about the story and the storyline is about young teens who are coming of age. For whatever reason, this book did not resonate with me the way I thought it would. I enjoyed it, but it didn’t blow me away as much as it “should have.” "

"I would say "Orthodoxy" is not the best story for Catholic teenagers to read. It was written over 100 years ago, and although faith remains the same, the disposition of teenagers today do not. I don't believe they will get much out of this story, although, it may be a good read later in life."

    #21I, Isaac Take Rebekah

    I, Isaac Take Rebekah

In the twenty-fourth chapter of Genesis a beautiful young woman offers assistance to a weary traveler and his camels, and out of that simple action, a marriage results-a marriage that offers profound lessons to couples today. Bible scholar and renowned speaker Ravi Zacharias draws five points critical to the long-lasting success of every marriage from the biblical story of the marriage of Isaac and Rebekah.

"Real love folds together both the emotions and the will," writes Zacharias. "Without the emotions, marriage is a drudgery; without the will, it is a mockery." Building upon that foundational truth, Zacharias goes on to explain the principles of seeking the counsel of others when finding a mate, cherishing your partner, remaining pure, becoming a man or woman of prayer, and, finally, risking everything in a relationship in order to experience God's ideal for love.

Couples everywhere, from those about to be married, to those who have been married for decades, will draw strength and wisdom for the journey of marriage as they learn from Ravi what it means to move from romance to lasting love.
