"This is a great game to teach kids that following the rules is what needs to be done in order to be successful. Something that is not taught enough these days. Not sure how I ended up looking at this app because I was searching for books for fifth graders (which this is obviously not). If they would only make this in book form as well then I would be good to go!"

I did not really know what to tell her so I looked through some internet searches. One of the most books that came up again and again was The Witches. I think it might be a good book so I suggested that one."

When I saw that she had helped do the drawing for this book, I had to get it. I have actually taken a few of the pictures out and framed them. I keep one on my desk at work. She is really very talented. The story, of course, is a classic. I think this would be a great purchase for little girls. The illustration by Kelly is just beautiful."

"A great book for kids looking for inspiration in their role models. The main character has a disability, in that she is deaf, but this disability turns her greatest weakness into her greatest strength. In akin to the popular "Daredevil" hero, she turns her hearing aid into her superpower, being able to hear pretty much anything, no matter how far away or soft it may be. The story inspires those experiencing such difficulties to overcome them and turn them into something positive."

"This link lead to Netflix's offering of Matilda, which is a classic family film about a young girl with some very interesting powers. The movie is based on the book by Roald Dahl. Encouraging fifth graders to read the book and then do a comparison and contrast between the book and the film could be a great exercise to motivate young readers. It would also provide good introduction to Dahl's other books, which include "The Witches" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," both of which were also made into movies. It's a fun solution. "
