"I was so happy Amazon found a way to get this book in print. I have explored many walks of faith in my journey, and chanting Om has been the most deeply satisfying and enlightening. I wanted a book that was right to the point, and this book was it. I purchased it for Kindle, but for some reason, I wanted the hard copy. I drank this book up, and learned so much from Dr. Amit Ray. The book is detailed, straight to the point, simple, open, and deeply spiritual. It gives detailed instructions on how to chant, breath, and posture. It has been very effective in my life helping me move away from things that no longer work in my spiritual walk. OM is God. OM is inside every living being in the entire Universe. Chant Om, go within, and you will experience the Divine. OM..OM...OM."

"Siva is a God of many facets, and this book attempts to uncover some of them. The polarizing positions Siva has on topics such as sexuality and Racism are detailed. This book is rather old being written in 1981 but I think you will find that many lessons in this book can be applied today."

"I think I am not clever enough for this book. I wish I was. I like learning interesting things. I also like looking at the origin of things. That this book was translated from Sanskrit is a big draw. However, I had a hard time with it. It might be me. Maybe I need to consider my perspective."

"I have a friend who is Hindu, and as she is a relatively new convert to that faith, I want to get her a great book for Hindus. This is definitely not the one. It only has a 2 star rating and doesn't appear to be liked by people who know the faith well. I will keep looking."
