"I tried using I Love Korean 6 and I thought it was very helpful. A significant portion of the most useful information, however, is presented in Korean, so this is probably much more useful to someone with at least some understanding of Korean, rather than someone just starting out."

"I lived in Korea for two and a half years and started learning Korean shortly before taking off for the country. Most of the academic resources I used (including this book) are from the Korean company Darakwon, and they have been enormously helpful. Regarding their grammar series as a whole, there is less emphasis on the broad, chapter-based organization (which I find to be cumbersome for learning) and more emphasis on smaller sections that each cover a particular kind of utterance. For each section, you are given two or three examples, and then you are given a thorough explanation of them followed by practice. You could easily make a routine out of one section per day without feeling overwhelmed. I found the CD to be helpful for both listening and practicing, not just understanding grammar."

"This series of workbooks is great for retaining information. I've been following along since I've started learning Korean and it's working very well for me. I really like how this pairs with the audio component. I was looking for something like this with the last language I was learning and couldn't find a similar resource. This is great material for sure, and it doesn't just feel like the exercises you get with a typical text book."

"I have always been interested in K-pop and everything Korean. So it seems only natural for me to try and learn the language. My brother bought this book for me and it has been great in teaching me the basic words. I spend about 30 minutes a day going over the words in this book, and it has helped me improve my vocabulary. It is well-written and makes learning Korean a bit easier for me. I highly recommend this book if you're a student of the Korean language. "

"I ultimately sent this back, because I ordered a Japanese language book, but I did have a look at it, and from what I can tell, it is REALLY well put together, and has a very good system for us North Americans to follow. So while it didn't help me, it appears to be an excellent book for learning the language."
