"I am looking for a great book about mother-child love as Mother's Day is approaching. Room is definitely a contender. It looks like a story with a lot of love between mother and son, and a very interesting plot. It is highly rated and has won awards. I am definitely going to read this one!"

"This book was written as way to help woman find enlightenment in the often difficult mother daughter relationship. I did not care for the book one little bit, I found it to be written in a way that made me feel inferior to the author- forgive, forget, and live a live a life of bliss…not so easy for everyone. I do not need to be talked down to by this woman. The book basically suggests how I will be condemned to life of inner hell if I do not forgive my mother for being a terrible mother. I hated this book. It is written to be condescending and make me feel like a idiot for not being able to make poetry out of a awful mother."

"After reading over the plot for this novel, it does seem like it could be an interesting journey Ava will take you on. I would expect this one to have a happy ending and our main character gets her great ending, but the fun is just reading and finding out for yourself!"

"This book was different than what I expected, and unique in it's telling of dementia. I really appreciate how everything is told from a first person perspective. The way time passes through the novel in short increments really allows the story to be told in a way where you can get a glimpse into how the main character is feeling."
