"Though my daughter loved to read when she was first learning, something turned her off of it in first or second grade. She resisted all efforts to get her to read and her grades suffered a little. When I found this series and read a little of it to her, her eyes lit up and she was dying to know what happened. The story will probably suck you in too, even as it turns around a non-reader's attitude toward reading. "

"This book is great, my two sons aren't much for reading, but we enjoyed this together and laughed at the ridiculous antics Captain Underpants gets up to. There are a lot of pictures breaking up the text, so it doesn't seem so overwhelming. I'd definitely recommend giving this a shot if you are struggling to get your kids to read (or even if you have little bookworms in your home)."

"bought all 4 books from the WImpy Kid series for my soon to be 8 yr old! He loves them. Already read one whole book. And I got them just in time for him to read over the summer. I looked everywhere for these books and this was the best price....and they are hard cover, which are way more durable for the younger readers! Very cute cartoons, and it makes the little guys think they are reading huge chapter books, the point is to get them to read, and enjoy it. These books do just that."

"Without an age specification, designating The Twits as a best book for non-readers is questionable as it is a children's book. Into Thin Air, To Kill a Mockingbird, Flowers in The Attic and The Great Gatsby would be more applicable to adults. "

"My son asked for this book from his school's annual book fair. I was hesitant since it was well out of his reading level, but he has really enjoyed me reading parts of this book to him each night before bed. I'm glad that this is the beginning of a series so that the adventures can keep going."

"I am always struggling with what books to suggest for my non-reader to get her to read. This is one of the books that she actually liked and read all the way through. I don't know if The Chronicles of Narnia would work for every non-reader, but in my opinion it is worth a shot."

I believe the cost is not much and if I did enjoy it, I could easily load on my kindle and enjoy it anywhere. All in all, I am sure this could be an enjoyable read!"

"My nephew doesn't like to read much, but I would really like him to broaden his horizons a bit. I thought about some of the Harry Potter books, but that's a series. I think trying to get him to read a series would be difficult, even if it's one of the better series out there. Some of the books in that series are amazing, such as the Prisoner of Azkaban, but none of them really work on their own."

"I read this book and I have to be honest I wasnt much of a fan. The writing is boring and predictable, the plot has been done better by others countless times before, and the c haracters are rather borign and uninteresting. You defiantly don't want to recommended this book to someone who doesn't like to read to begin with."

"This is the third book of the Percy Jackson series and I must saw that all of the books in the series are amazing. This one in particular left me so excited to keep reading. I am not usually much of a reader but there is no doubt that I will be finishing this series. I would recommend this book to any fans of young adult literature. The books are all exciting and great reads, but the Titan's Curse is easily one of my favorites. "
