"I wanted this book to help me, but sadly, it didn't. When they say that it deals with the loss of a pet, they don't mean any kind of loss. This book specifically deals with your pet being killed by another pet or animal but doesn't really go into what happens or how to deal with your pet dies from an illness. So it's not all that helpful to anyone unless you're in that specific situation."

"This book I bought was used to see how I could help my child with the loss of his dog. Which was his best friend. The book had some helpful tips on how to deal with it. I’ve never had a pet so I don’t know what the loss of one would be like. Overall it helped my boy out so it’s a good book to have on the shelve."

"My dog recently went to doggie Heaven and I was distraught until I came across what I believe is the best book to help you get through these tough times ever written. It's titled "Bone Dog" and it feels like it was written directly for me. It's fairly simple and straightforward but it really jumps into the depths of the issues and does so in a fairly friendly manner. I think it will help you a lot."
